TSSA's 2008 Market Survey Confidentiality Pledge

Surveys were mailed to all known self-storage facilities in Texas on May 30, 2008.
 
The Texas Self Storage Association, Inc. (TSSA) makes the following pledge to keep individual survey responses confidential:
 
The specific information received by TSSA pertaining to the participant will be received and reviewed in the strictest confidence only by authorized agents of TSSA, and such information shall be used by TSSA for the sole purpose of review, compilation, and evaluation.

None of the information obtained from the participant shall be photocopied or directly reproduced without prior permission of the participant.

TSSA shall not disclose the operating data of the participant to any other entity or person, other than Self Storage Data Services, a third-party firm retained to manage the data gathered, nor shall TSSA disclose any specific information regarding the participant that has been supplied to TSSA, unless the participant specifically grants permission.

TSSA shall not publish any specific information pertaining to the participant; rather, TSSA shall compile statistical data pertaining to self-storage facilities as a group and shall publish such statistical data in its aggregate form only.

Self Storage Data Services, Inc. (SSDS) is bound to the same pledge of confidentiality, and has a specific written confidentiality agreement with TSSA that prohibits SSDS from sharing individual operating data of participants with any entity or person.
