TSSA Forms Software is an easy-to-use software package designed to let you quickly fill out the official TSSA lease forms and all of the Goldbook© forms by computer and print the completed forms on a laser or an inkjet printer. You no longer have to fill out forms by hand or with a typewriter, or maintain a large inventory of pre-printed forms.

The software has been designed to save you time and effort by speeding up the preparation and printing of lease packages and Goldbook© forms. The software has also been designed to improve accuracy and reduce errors by providing built-in math calculations, default settings for recurring items and charges, automatic data transfers from the main lease form to other forms making up the lease package, built-in error checking, and lease expiration reports.

Printing Lease Forms

The TSSA Forms Software contains a built-in counter that tracks printing of the lease forms sold by TSSA. Each software package includes access to an initial set of 300 leases (in duplicate). Your counter will initially be set to 600. Every time you print a lease your counter will be reduced by two (unless you print more than the default number of two copies). Goldbook© forms are not counted. Additional forms clicks beyond the 300 sets of leases that come with each system may be purchased through TSSA and installed on your system by using an access code supplied by Blue Moon, the software provider.

• Produce complete accurate lease packages, (main lease form plus related forms) in minutes!
• Print the latest version of the official TSSA lease and Goldbook© forms on your laser or inkjet printer.
• Set up a default lease for each site license to pre-fill recurring entries, such as late charges, due dates, etc.
• Automatically check lease entries for invalid dates
• Automatically transfer lease data to Goldbook© forms.
• Automatically calculate pro-rated rent (using either the exact number of days in the month or the 30-day method of proration).

What the program will do:

The TSSA Forms Software program enables you to set up default information so that you can quickly enter customer information and print the TSSA Rental Agreement, addenda and any of the official forms on your own printer. TSSA Forms Software can be used as a stand-alone program, or with a management software program offering the interface to TSSA’s program. If you are using an interface, you can enter the customer information in your management software, and then simply click a button to print the lease, addenda, or a wide variety of TSSA forms, with the tenant’s name and address already filled in. No more tedious typing or handwriting!

What the program won’t do:

This is not a management or accounting software program. It won’t track payments or automatically charge late fees, display units available, or control gate access.

Frequently Asked Questions

• How much does it cost? - The price for each site license of the TSSA Forms Software is $240.00, plus a $10 shipping/handling fee and sales tax, and includes 300 duplicate leases (a $90 value) and unlimited use of the official TSSA forms and more than 60 Goldbook© forms.
• What if I do not renew my TSSA membership? Will I still be able to use the software? -
  No. Use of the TSSA Forms Software is tied to your TSSA membership. As long as you remain a current TSSA member, your software may be renewed.
• Once I’ve purchased the software is there an annual fee? - Yes. The annual fee for license and support is $100, which will be billed with your annual dues. This fee must be paid each year in order to renew the program.
• Is that renewal fee optional? - No. The annual license and support fee is required in order for the program to remain active.
• What if I have some unused leases at renewal time? - If your membership is renewed and the support fee is paid, you will carry over any unused electronic leases to the next year.
• How will I know when I am running low on leases? - The program will give you a warning notice to order more leases when you are down to 25.
• What about re-ordering TSSA Forms Software leases? - The re-order rate for leases, after the initial 300 sets are used: $25 for 100 duplicate sets, plus $7 processing fee and sales tax. The software has a built-in order form which may either be printed or e-mailed to TSSA for re-orders.
• What about software updates? Do I need to be on the Internet? - Blue Moon has an automatic update feature in the software that allows the user to simply click "update" while connected to the Internet. However, updates are also available on CD ROM.
• What are the minimum requirements to run the TSSA Forms Software by Blue Moon?

Please note: We recommend that you keep some printed forms on hand as a back-up in the event of an equipment failure.

Enter your information on the order form accurately! There is a $25 fee if the information provided by the licensee must be changed or corrected after the original disk is sent (a new program with the new information embedded would be sent once the original is returned). Care should be taken to ensure that the full legal name of the facility (which will appear on all leases) and the physical location of that facility are specified. A separate mailing address for customer payments can be entered into the program once it is received.

Summary: TSSA members pay $240 (plus a $10 processing fee) to purchase the TSSA Forms Software program. The software is programmed to expire with your membership, so you must remain a current TSSA member to keep using it. Additionally, TSSA members using the forms software will pay an annual $100 technical support fee (after the first year). As long as the membership is active and the annual fee is current, members may order additional electronic leases, in lieu of ordering the traditional printed forms. All other TSSA official forms are included at no extra charge in the software.
