Educational Learning Sessions
Our greatest resource is our convention participants. Please send a note to emathews@txssa.org and let us know what topics are of the most interest to you!
Hotel Reservations
It's not too early to reserve your hotel room at the Westin Riverwalk! TSSA has a very special rate of $169 a night (plus tax) for up to four people per room! At the time of this writing, Travelocity.com's current rate starts at $309 and expedia.com and hotels.com do not have availability. Our special rate is good through October 17, 2008, but our room block often fills before then. Please don't delay!

Exhibiting
Interested in exhibiting? We'd love to have you there to show our participants your products and services! Just e-mail Director of Education and Meetings Emily Mathews, CMP at emathews@txssa.org for an explanation of our booth selection process. Please include all of your contact information (what you'd see on a business card).
Charitable Fundraising
TSSA
members make a difference in children's lives. For the past seven
years, TSSA has supported the Shriners Children’s Burn Hospital in
Galveston with the proceeds from the Charity Texas Hold 'Em Poker
Tournament (held on the evening before the convention starts) and the
silent auction that takes place throughout the convention, culminating in
a live auction on the last day.
-
Donate goods or services to be auctioned. These can include collectibles, gift certificates, sports memorabilia, jewelry, gift baskets, free consulting services, and the list goes on and on!
-
Donate cash to allow the Fundraising Committee to purchase an item to be auctioned.
-
Participate in the Make a Difference campaign – members will be asked to donate just $5! More details on this coming shortly. “If we all give a little, we can do a lot.”
