    Self-Storage – General Managers


    A-Another Storage is currently seeking to fill the position of General Manager at its Woodlands, TX location. Ideal candidates would be a couple/team to live on site in the 2 Bedroom/2 Bath apartment. The General Managers will be  responsible for the oversight, management and profitable of assigned self-storage facility. We are looking for a couple that will identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and use reason when dealing with emotional situations to solve conflicts. They need to exhibit sound and accurate judgment while looking for ways to improve and promote quality. Salary: DOE.


    Key Responsibilities

    Property Maintenance:

    Maintains a clean, safe, secure facility while remaining proactive with site repairs as needed or requested by Management.
    Visually inspect facility daily, respond promptly to any situation needing  attention and notifying Management of the occurrence.

    General office/Bookkeeping:

    Follow protocol for: rent collection, handling delinquencies, leases, evictions, vacancies, and the resolution of tenant issues.
    Open and close the office on time each day.
    Maintain all required tenant documentation in a neat and orderly manner.
    Maintain accuracy of petty cash and make bank deposits.
    Prepare weekly reports for corporate accounting department.


    Rent units and keep the facility rented at optimum levels.
    Encourage the purchase, and maintain inventory, of: boxes, locks, and moving supplies.
    Provide extraordinary customer service to existing and potential tenants, as well as, assessing and resolving tenant issues, greeting walk-ins with a friendly and helpful attitude, and professionally handling telephone inquiries.
    Remain up-to-date with industry resources on current trends and technology.
    Timely follow-up on leads.     
    Visit local businesses to endorse the facility in order to increase occupancy  levels.



    Speak English clearly; listen and get clarification; responds well to questions.
    Writes clearly and informatively and presents numerical data effectively.
    Computer literacy, with strong skills in MS Office Suite and internet research.
    Bi-lingual in Spanish, a plus


    Minimum 5 years of self-storage experience.
    Must provide references and clear a criminal background check.
    Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
    Ability to work without supervision.
