    Professional Resident Manager
    for a Self Storage Facility in Dallas, TX

    We are interviewing for a Professional Resident Manager position to manage a new self storage facility in the Northwest Dallas TX area.

    Summary: We are looking for a self-motivated, mature, organized and outgoing individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to help manage and improve performance at our storage facility. While steering the facility toward higher revenues, you will provide excellent customer service to potential and existing tenants, rent storage units and market the facility as the premier storage choice in the community.

    Job Description:
    Provide a personal experience and excellent customer service for new and existing customers is our #1 priority.
    Maintain a clean, professional appearance inside the office and outside on the facility grounds (clearing hallways, preparing storage units for rentals, enforcing facility rules and policies).
    Utilize your sales expertise and our self storage sales best practices to convert storage rental prospects to customers. This requires a strong sales presence over the phone, in-person, and writing short emails to prospects that have an interest in our services.
    Learn and operate our storage rental software to take payments, perform move-ins or move-outs, process payment reminders, send email or mail notices, banking and daily reconciliation, etc.
    Perform collection calls to delinquent tenants over the phone and by sending emails. Or SMS payment reminders through our software.
    Qualifications and Skills:
    At least 2 years of employment with one employer.
    Proven leadership, organization and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to learn quickly with minimum supervision.
    Ability to take a proactive role when dealing with routine processes and issues.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Experience in using and navigating Windows operating systems and common office apps (email, MS Word, web browsers).
    Requires reliable transportation, valid Driver’s license and ability to drive a golf cart.
    Ability to perform required site maintenance and easily lift 40 lbs of weight.

    Strongly recommended:
    Letters of recommendation from previous work/projects.

    Previous experience in the Self Storage industry.
    Exposure and use of Storage Software programs.
    Previous sales experience.

    Compensation: Salary based on experience, commission on rentals, and Insurance sales.  Use of an apartment with paid utilities, vacation/sick time and holidays.

    Work Schedule: Full-time -- Tuesday - Saturday work week. Facility operating hours are from Monday thru Friday, 9:30am to 6pm and Saturday, 9:30am - 5pm.
