Mitch Clark

Regional Manager, Site Safe Security, Grand Prairie

Mitch is Regional Manager for the Dallas/Fort Worth region for Site Safe Security, a firm providing access control, security camera and fire alarm services.  He started his career in self storage 30 years ago, working at a U-Haul facility right after college, progressing from shop manager to area field manager, and then through the management ranks to Marketing Company President. Mitch later supervised seven facilities in Texas and Louisiana for six years for Cubby Hole Self Storage before going to work for Site Safe Security in 2010. Mitch served on the board of directors for the Louisiana Self Storage Association while working for Cubby Hole, and as a vendor representative while working for Site Safe. He served as the volunteer Vice President for LASSA.  Mitch earned his Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University.
 

Chelsea Daoust

Director of Sales and Client Relations, Sage Storage Insurance Services, San Diego, CA

Chelsea has eight years of experience in the self-storage industry and is responsible for sales and regulatory compliance for Sage. Though Chelsea is based in San Diego, she spends a good deal of her time in Texas meeting with and advising clients. She is well versed in Texas Department of Insurance regulations and her main goal in serving on the TSSA Board is to provide guidance on insurance matters and help self-storage operators feel comfortable with regard to regulations. Chelsea is originally from Seattle and she earned a degree in kinesiology from the University of Hawaii.



 

Nick Febo

Territory Sales Manager, National Coatings Corporation, Dallas
 
Nick has been selling commercial roof coatings for 12 years, but has essentially grown up in the roofing business, since his father owned a roofing company. One of his goals is to help educate consumers/TSSA members about the importance of screening and selecting the appropriate roofing contractors. Nick served a three-year term on the board of directors for the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association, and was tapped as president-elect, as well as a two-year term on the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas board.  He has exhibited at the TSSA trade show since 2008. His hobbies include golfing and fishing.




Dave Knobler

Director, National Storage Group, Marcus & Millichap, Houston

Dave Knobler joined Marcus & Millichap in 2010, specializing in self-storage brokerage and is a First Vice President--Investments with the firm. Mr. Knobler has closed over $200 million worth of real estate transactions primarily consisting of self-storage properties and currently holds the title of Director in the Marcus & Millichap National Self Storage Group. He is consistently among the top self-storage agents nationwide and has received sales recognition awards the last four years as well as being recognized as the “Best of the Best” by the Houston Business Journal in 2016. Dave has written numerous articles for trade publications, has participated in podcasts for the TSSA website, and presented at self-storage industry gatherings, and advises individual companies considering entrance into the industry. Dave has a Bachelor’s of Speech Communication from the University of Texas at Austin and prior to his commercial real estate career, was an award-winning television sportscaster.



Dave Morgan

Executive Vice President, SBS Construction, Boerne

A member of TSSA for 18 years, Dave Morgan is Executive Vice President for SBS Construction, a full-service construction management firm in Boerne. Dave and business partner Steve Schiffman started SBS in 1994 and Dave manages all aspects of the company’s operations. An ardent supporter of TSSA’s fundraising efforts for the Shriners Hospitals for Children, SBS has exhibited at TSSA’s trade show and been a major event sponsor for almost two decades. Dave previously partnered on the ownership of several self-storage facilities in Louisiana and Texas. Hailing from the New Orleans area, Dave’s background before SBS includes work in public accounting for an international accounting firm and management and ownership positions in advertising, oil & gas and structural engineering. He is an honors graduate of Louisiana State University-New Orleans with dual degrees in Accounting and Philosophy. Dave obtained his CPA certificate in 1975.
