Rick Beal
Atomic Storage Group
St. George, UT

Rick is the co-founder of the Atomic Storage Group, a nationwide third-party management and investment company.

He is a former owner/operator of 6 “Class A” facilities in the western United States. He was an intricate part of growing the company from two to six locations. During this time, he also initiated and managed the company's third-party management operation.


Rick previously served as Vice President of Management and Development at Easy Storage Solutions, where he began their consulting and third-party management division.

Rick has authored many articles and blogs for the storage industry. He is a frequently sought-out keynote speaker, panel expert and trusted source for his perspective on self-storage investment opportunities and operations.

Rick has a bachelor's degree from Boise State University.
 

Darren Kelley
Right Move Storage
Houston

Darren is the co-founder and president of Right Move Storage, a full-service self-storage management company and brand, with over 27 years of successful storage operations experience. Prior to founding Right Move Storage, Darren joined American Spectrum Realty Management in 2010, where he was charged with building a self-storage brand from scratch. He and his team oversaw the management and turnaround of a 22-property distressed storage portfolio.

Darren joined Public Storage in 2001 as district manager. He was part of the operations team who helped Public Storage accumulate the cash necessary to make a 500-property acquisition. He also won several awards and was recognized nationally for his results. He previously worked for recognized brands such as Popeye’s, Boston Market, and Diedrich Coffee/Gloria Jeans Coffees in District, Regional, and National capacities.

He graduated  with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston.
 

Dave Knobler
Marcus & Millichap
Houston

Dave is a partner in the LeClaire Group as well as First Vice President Investments and Director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Self-Storage Group. In the past eight years Dave has closed more than $200 million worth of real estate transactions, primarily consisting of self-storage properties.

Dave is consistently among the firm’s industry-leading storage group agents nationwide and has received sales recognition awards seven straight years, including the Marcus & Millichap National Achievement Award in 2016 and 2018. Dave was the top ranked agent in the Houston office in 2018. Other awards include being recognized as “The Best of the Best” in The Houston Business Journal in 2016.

Prior to his career in commercial real estate brokerage, Dave had a lengthy career as an award-winning television sportscaster. While he no longer reports on sports, Dave is still a huge fan and enjoys competing in all types of sports when time permits. A graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, he and his family attend as many UT football games as possible, at least when he and his wife aren’t watching their three kids participate in activities.
