Facility Owner

The Owner category is for those who own at least one self-storage facility in Texas. Dues are based on the number of facilities owned, and the TSSA bylaws require payment of dues for all facilities owned or managed by the member. Each member receives one Goldbook©, one starter kit of rental agreements and one magazine subscription. All representatives on the roster have access to TSSA member-only resources.

Annual Owner Dues:
$260 includes one facility
$155 each additional facility owned/managed

Management Company

The Management Company category is for any person or entity that provides management services for self-storage facility owners. Dues are based on the number of facilities managed, and the TSSA bylaws require payment of dues for all facilities managed by the member. Management Company members receive all the benefits of Vendor members and may elect to receive one Goldbook©, one magazine subscription per facility and one starter kit of rental agreements per membership. All representatives on the roster have access to TSSA member-only resources.

Developer

A special category for those who do not fit the other category definitions, but who have an interest in the Texas self-storage industry, the Developer membership category is for those who are building or in the process of buying a facility. Joining TSSA during the development phase provides a definite advantage with access to education and networking events. 

When you have opened your facility, please contact TSSA at membership@txssa.org so we can update your record.

Vendor/Supplier

This category is for companies or individuals providing goods or services to the self-storage industry. Vendor members receive up to three free category listings on the online Vendor Locator. They are also entitled to significant discounts on TSSA advertising rates and trade show booths and have sponsorship opportunities for exposure to TSSA's membership base.

Publicly Traded Company (REIT) Membership

This membership is tailored for companies with public ownership of shares and owns, operates or finances income-producing self-storage facilities. This membership offers the opportunity to be involved in the largest state association in the country and meet with the major players in the industry. Your membership supports TSSA’s legislative activities in Texas on behalf of the industry.
