Nathan Bennett, UTEX Storage Partners

Dallas, TX

Nathan Bennett is the managing principal of UTEX Storage Partners and has more than 15 years of commercial real estate investment experience. Prior to joining the company, Nathan served as the chief investment officer for Wasatch Storage Partners, the predecessor company to UTEX Storage Partners. During his time in this role, he was responsible for the general investment activities of Wasatch Storage Partners II. Before that, he was vice president in the self-storage group at Crow Holdings Capital and sat on the investment committee for the Crow Holdings Capital Self-Storage Fund. Nathan started his career at Crow Holdings as a financial analyst for two years and rejoined the firm’s industrial team in an acquisitions and asset management role. Prior to returning to Crow Holdings Capital, Nathan served as a development associate with the Forestar Group and as a finance associate with Lincoln Property Company. Nathan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in real estate finance from Southern Methodist University in 2008.

Nathan was appointed to fill a vacant board position in 2023. This will be his second term serving on the TSSA board.
 


Vianney Jasik, Trusted Self Storage Professionals

San Antonio, TX

Vianney Jasik is president of Trusted Self Storage Professionals and has more than a decade of experience in the self-storage industry. Her journey started in 2011 with Trusted Self Storage Professionals, formerly known as Professional Management Inc. Throughout her tenure, she has held various positions in the operations field adding layers of insight to the industry. She started as an assistant manager, was promoted to manager, and then took on various roles including marketing director, director of operations and executive vice president prior to her current role as president and partner. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in fine art and communications from Texas State University.

Vianney is an active member of TSSA and has served on several committees. She has shared her expertise as a speaker at luncheons and educational events and is often quoted or used as a resource for articles in TSSA’s magazine, Self-Storage News.


Edwin Roark, Roark Properties, Inc.
Palestine, TX

Edwin Roark is president of Roark Properties, Inc., and he owns and manages three facilities in Palestine under the StorMor4Less brand that he purchased in 2017 to establish a consistent revenue stream. Edwin is also a licensed real estate broker and second-generation real estate developer.

He grew up in East Texas working for his family’s business that subdivided over 600 acres into residential and commercial projects in Nacogdoches County. In 1999, Edwin moved to the Houston area and platted over 400 lots in several subdivisions. Additionally, he founded Wynnwood Homes, which designed and built over 25 custom homes in Stoneridge Lakes. In 2009, he moved to the Austin area where he continued platting lots in local subdivisions. He designed and built Reagan Ridge RV Park which opened in 2022. Edwin looks forward to expanding his self-storage portfolio.

Edwin volunteers for numerous church and religious programs including Alliance for Life, Church in a Day project (serving as superintendent), ACTS (substance abuse program), serves on his church board and is an active pastor/minister. He attended Stephen F. Austin University and Texas Bible College.


Erik Tolpo, Tallwood Storage
Port Neches, TX

Erik Tolpo is co-owner and operator of Tallwood Storage LP, dba Central Maxi Storage in the Port Neches area. He entered the self-storage industry in 2013 after a career in law enforcement serving various agencies for more than 20 years. Erik supervises day-to-day operations, property acquisition and development of commercial and residential real estate. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Lamar State University in Beaumont.

Erik was elected in 2021. This will be his second term serving on the TSSA board.
